LAS seeks to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of Athletic programs through the application of modern techonologies.  Its flagship product, Teamworks, serves as a central communication hub for all members of an athletic department, from athletes to the athletic director.  The first of its kind, Teamworks has revolutionized how information is stored, shared, and analyzed in today's top athletic programs. 

Short History of LAS

LAS was founded in 2004 by Zach Maurides, a former Duke University football player and graduate.  Throughout his experiences as a student athlete he noticed several problems, centered around time management, communication and organization in today's athletic department.  He knew there was a better way to do things.  Leveraging experience in software development, he began working on a technology to streamline the flow of information within an athletic department.  His work led to the creation of Teamworks.

In 2005 Duke Football went live with the first beta version Teamworks.  The following year the first production version of Teamworks was released with Duke Football and Duke Lacrosse.  Today teams and Athletic departments across the country use Teamworks to stay organized and stay connected on a daily basis.
